I must admit Pet Shop Boys are a bit of a guilty pleasure for me (along with Frankie Goes To Hollywood) and I think it's probably their production values that swing it for me. Good album.

Now that I've actually 'got' what the two of them were trying to do, I must admit they succeeded. Even the name of the band is sardonic. So well done to he who introduced it to us all, you succeeded in amusing and after all that is what music is supposed to do.

I do like some of Pet Shop Boys Tunes but to me they were always more of a singles band. This failed to grab me and the first track's title sums it up unfortunately. 4/10

Can't listen to it just now but saw them live many, many moons ago and they were excellent. I enjoy them from time to time - I want a dog,It's a Sin - and a lot of their other stuff from Introspective and Actually. I will get a listen to this when I get home and comment further then.

Ooh, no. Sorry but this one is really not for me. Afraid I can't find a single thing about it that would make me want to hear it again, so I gave it a 1/10, I'm afraid. I don't agree with the 'rubbish' label which is attached to that score though, it's just not for me.

Gave it a 5. Enjoyed it enough and would happily listen again if it was on. Not necessarily my first choice of genre though.

I don't like to call any music rubbish (unless Adele is involved, but that's her more than the music), but this did little for me so I voted 2/10.
There is rarely much pop/mainstream music that I enjoy and that's been fairly consistent for the last 40+ years since I started enjoying music. I perhaps enjoyed a smattering during my 20's, but that was more out of need whilst entertaining guests. Now I play whatever I want and if the guests don't like it, I try to expand their horizons rather than placate them by playing pop.
