Sadly not just EBay - I use Amazon Prime a lot, and you used to be able to rely on their 'next day delivery'. In the past I've had orders I placed 9 pm one night turn up 11 am next day.
It's becoming more the case that next day becomes 2-3 days or even more.

I feel it is purely the amount of shipping they do and the cost of the item, not sticking up for Amazon just facts. Also the channel tunnel issue is a big problem at the moment as a lot of stock is held in Europe at the moment.
That said I order some very odd sized ultra tight tolerance resistors from the US at 9pm on Thursday evening this week and this morning at 8.30am they arrived.
Currently listening to the benefits as we speak. (UPS delivery)

Another day and the usually reliable postman has passed me by. He even parked his van outside my home the other day so he is coming. The feet had better be interesting if they ever turn up - £44.
A pal had tried a Musicworks isolator which he has passed to me for a few days. It is very elegant, clear acrylic and is under my DAC which looks like it is floating in air. I am not looking for any improvement from this item and I am not hearing any but some swear by them. Maybe it will jump out and surprise me when I least expect it.

Funny how people seem to think that things like Isolation tables & feet are de rigueur, some things people just cannot shake off

Hi Gaz Have you tried the RDC cones under the Isofeet? I'm wondering if this might be a good solution to my situation where I have the kit on top of a big brick fireplace (6' high, 3' deep, 9' wide) - the problem is that it's not perfectly flat or smooth on top, and if I had RDC cones pointing downwards under the Isofeet (which would be in directly in contact with the undersides of the Dac and amp) I wouldn't need to worry about any unevenness brick to brick. Interested to hear your thoughts - as mentioned before it was one of your postings on AoS some time ago that got me thinking about Isofeet in the first place. Cheers. Bill Hey Bill. Took a while but got around to comparing RDC cones with the feet again. The feet sound noticeably more focused than the cones, especially if you take the stock case feet off and use them directly on the metal casework. The cones work this way so its a fairer comparison too. Using the cones under the feet was actually worse than the feet alone...which surprised me? In your situation, for using them on the fireplace was it, I'd be using the Isofeet dirctly on the casework of your kit (take the feet off) and put some blutak under the isofeet to level them out on a hard surface. ...if it was me.
