Selling one of my WD88VA power amps due to the arrival of a WAD300B, can't keep all 3 amps due to space restrictions so this one is up for grabs.
In very good working order and in very nice clean condition, this is the single input version with the rare blank front panel, the valves are all near new and it will be sold with a complete second spare set as well. I think the pictures speak for themselves, this is a very nice amp.
KT88 power tubes are the Genelex Gold Lion version, these were purchased new in May last year so have had very little use and will be good for many hours yet. The ECC83S is a brand new JJ valve and the 2 signal valves are nos Jan type.
All of the spare valves are in good condition with low hours.
A great sounding amp at a good price, a demo can be arranged if required, also I am prepared to deliver within a reasonable distance of Devizes for a small contribution towards the diesel, collection is the preferred option as this way the amp can be demonstrated to any potential buyer.
Only asking £650 for this excellent amp, any questions, please ask.
I also have the face plate for the volume control only option and can supply this with the original pot and volume knob if any potential buyer would prefer that version, see pictures below:
I am also willing to offer this without the spare JJ valve set for £575
Thanks for looking.

I've listened to this amp on many occasions and it really is first class and £650 is a nice price.
Apart from it's excellent visual presentation, the sound is clean and well controlled offering a deep penetration into the music presenting detail and micro-dynamics. Furthermore, it is hum free with a nice inky black background. I feel sure any buyer will be very pleased with their purchase.
Remember, the current equivalent from WD would set you back £1525. Also, it comes with the original WD face plate(s) which are rare and in my view, much classier than the current style offered by WD, albeit the new style has not been included on the current WD website, so a bit hard for a potential buyer to make comparison.
Worth thinking about. Bit of a bargain in my view!

Really can't understand why this is still available as it is a fantastic amp which sounds awesome (not in a Lego movie way)
Someone should snap it up quickly.
