There is a fascinating piece of audio history here - an RCA 70-C broadcast turntable with a Clarkston tonearm and an additional RCA tonearm as a spare. The great thing about this unit though, is that it also has the optional extra cutting lathe attachment. Cut and play your own records! Here's the link |

Something ive noticed that is quite worrying. When you purchase something off E-Bay, it seems all you have to do is click on pay & thats it done no need to sign into paypal. So if someone gets into your E-Bay account there straight into payment.
This is infact very alarming imho i want to be able to enter my paypal password details.

I'm very happy with my Exposure. To my ears it gave TQ Ultra black a hard time Have you tried Naim A5 cable Mike? I upgraded from Cable Talk III (exactly the same as the Exposure cable, as that was rebranded Cable Talk cable, only blue as opposed to black) and it made a marked improvement in all ways... The only slight retraction is that it's a little brighter, but I think that's more to do with an increase in detail. |

Cable Talk 3 isn't the same as the original Exposure cable (with the raised lettering). I've had both and the Exposure is stiffer with bigger strands and a different dielectric. I'm not sure which incarnation Mike has. I thought Cable Talk 3 was a pretty grim cable to be honest. I've had a few lengths of A5 over the years and mostly haven't liked that either. However, it did work well in one room and system, so I guess it just shows how variable results can be with cables. The thing that always surprises me is when people say they can't hear any difference. Speaker cables can often make bigger differs than amps in my experience.

I think, Andr'e, it's a setting specific to a machine and is not persistent across other machines. I'm fairly sure I had to connect the two accounts separately on both my home and work machines.

Interesting to know which one, what was the colour of the Naim cable you had? I have to find out as I'm likely to be selling it Black. 2 or 3 sets Guessing I have 1 or 2 NACA4 and 1 or 2 NACA5. The stupid cold that left it's muck in my system is stopping joined up thinking - even worse than normal ! One small set not for sale white from Nait 2 to Saras |
