ALSO AS PART OF THE SALE:
The Oppo can output DSD audio via its HDMI output to your AV receiver.
This means DSD audio can be extracted from SACDs.
I didn't have an AV receiver that can do this, but I wanted to play SACD's via my external DAC, so bought an HDMI Audio Extractor which outputs SACD audio as 24/96 to Dac via spdif optical or RCA coax. Heavy unit, quality build...Absolutely fantastic, works perfectly without impacting sound quality.
Depending on your DAC can improve on SACD sound from Oppo analogue outputs.
Selling for a firm £550 delivered which includes the SACD audio extractor as part of the sale.
thanks.
