Got it figured out. Got the dimensions from a guy on vinylengine forum, and found out that I have the 50hz capstan. I chucked it in my lathe and machined .025 inch off of It, and now it plays almost spot on... when I get the correct belt, I will fine tune the speed..

I had one of those TT's a right pain in the arse it was. I avoid turntable like the plague that have transformers built under the hood. What about the transformer is a pain?

Got a new to me turntable in today, and bought a new belt for it. I put it on, and it's playing way too fast. Tried putting 2 coils of electrical tape in the platter, but it didn't make a difference. I saw in the manual for it that it shipped with 2 capstans, one for 60hz, and another one for 50hz...this is what's on there now. Is it right? Just timed it and it is going a little better than 40rpm, so almost 20 percent off I am in the US, and table has a stamp on it that says 117v 60 hz
