I've used some Christmas Amazon vouchers to order an Audioquest Cinnamon USB to microUSB 0.75m cable to power the Asus from the QP-1, replacing the JuiceBitz cable in that position. That makes all of my digital cables come from the Audioquest stable. You'll get over it chief. LOL

Anyone tried the beeswax fuses? I’m surprised they’re seemingly so much less popular. I dont think they make a plug fuse only 20mm and 32mm for inside equipment so its far more difficult to fit one as a lot of punters won't like to oppen the lid on their gear and fanny about looking for where the fuses are located. A plug fuse is easy to fit! Personally I think the plug fuses also make the biggest improvement. The P6's have a slot underneath where the mains lead plugs in, the fuse is inside there.

I have a number of linear PSU's in what I call at work "the graveyeard" it does not mean they are dead in fact they are all new but for various reasons are spares, typical example few weeks ago I sent Nick an order for 2 supplies to power the soundsmith straingauge cartridge and they should have been 24V but I told him 12V! So I have 2 x 12V supplies spare now plus others of various voltages.

Awhile ago, it was mentioned upgrading the power supply to your wifi router could reduce noise. Did I understand that right? Was looking perhaps at an iFi Audio iPower DC Power Supply for this. The ipower is OK but nothing special. Doubt you will hear much difference, its a tarted up switch mode PSU. A linear PSU will improve things.

I made a small change by swapping in an SR Orange fuse into the power amp cable from the Blue I had in there. That's better, a further lift in detail and attack. I definitely prefer the Orange and Red over the Blue. Interesting how these things work out, and I can see a good reason for using Blues in systems that are just too forward and need calming down a little. Nah, Orange everywhere sorry to dis-agree.

Forgot to mention there are no orange fuses in the BR products anywhere LOL You on the good stuff tonight, David? Got back from fishing about 2 hours ago, shower, some food and now looking for a nice bottle of red so the answer is not yet!

The early models of BR grounding boxes/modules are totally different from the launch models which MT has, I left out the hdmi one as wall mounted TV's wont take them due to the size, I tried it in a sky q box and a 55" Sony on a stand and they work very well on those. Takes 2-3 days dont know why for them to do their stuff on AV gear.
There is a mains one as well which I have tried.

Oranges imho work best in the mains wall fuse, conditioners, re gennys and isolation tx's, large power amps as well (if the have the resolution capability) Class A's can give very interesting results. I only use two Orange fuses in my own system, they over egg the pudding with two many, I end up with it sounding like a naim system, to much bleeding edge ad not enough depth imho However in a system with lesser resolution you may well notice a more positive outcome. However different systems, different results, best overall balance is red, with either Blue or Orange in the big feeds and PSU's. Interestingly I tried another Orange in the Rb GPS master clock feed, humm didn't like that, yet the Mutec feed loves it. All grist for mill LOL
