Who has one? Could you relate your experience with and without using the master clock? I'm talking about the external 10MHz reference clocks out there designed to improve the sound quality of streamers, DACs and reclockers. Typical brands in widespread circulation include Mutec, Cybershaft, Teac, SOtM, Antelope, SRS etc. As with all aspects of hi-fi, the claims and counterclaims make for some fascinating reading. Typical measurements quoted are jitter, phase noise, Alain dispersion, drift. There is further complication with some clocks and devices using 50Ω connectors and co-ax cabling while others use 75Ω. Clock technologies used include crystals, oven temperature control, rubidium, caesium, GPS. Use this thread for discussion of all master clocks. Is this thread created because Tony is trying to sell you his clock? LOL thats so funny.

Perhaps you are pleased enough to just leave it as is now. Says the one taking delivery of some stonking new Soulution amps! Maybe. This is what I have at the moment, no central heating needed. The huge sheet of glass that goes in the front of the valve is missing before anyone asks.

I'm left wondering whether the changes I hear are down to purely the AMR Gold fuse (likely) or some of it is down to floating the screen of the 3m Supra LoRad 1.5 power cable to the Weiliang PSU powering the router (unknown). It's a small but nice improvement in smoothness without losing any attack or slam. There is no screen as such on that cable dude, you have not connected the drain wire bad idea LOL It would not be included if supra thought it was not needed now would it you naughty boy!

Hats off and a heartfelt thank you to the OP from me.
The difference in sound quality from Qobuz is easy to hear.
I will be keeping this.

The more I listen, the more Qobuz impresses. Spotify is always a good fallback, but is shown up in complex music. Examples mate? Kraftwerk? LOL

Could have sworn someone said they had simplified their system. Who was that, can anybody remember? It is - single source now. I didn't necessarily claim that my single chain would remain simple LOL

I added 2 AMR fuses to the power leads going to the Temple Audio Supercharers. It gives a bit more depth and resolution at not crazy money in my system. How can a fuse possibly make any difference to sound quality really I don't get this tomfoolery at all

Interesting to see MartinT and John 's system diagrams Good way to interpret a system. What easy way is there to knock one up for the lovely technically challenged and lazy me ? Pen and paper? LOL

What would be the fun in that? Well first of all it sounds stupendously good, 2nd it does not need up-grading apart from maybe a black ravioli black hole and above all partnered with a good DAC (not yours lol only mesing mate) there is nothing else needed apart from an ipad. I get the need to play, toys and boys etc etc but I just don't get the fannying around with something thats cheap to try and improve it, its cheap for a reason. All IMO of course.

Rather than try and describe my ever more complex digital chain, I thought I'd draw a diagram. I have time on my hands... The EtherREGEN plus ancillaries, when they arrive, are drawn on a yellow background. The rest of the system is as of now. Bloody hell just buy a Lumin man! LOL

Quite a decent haul from Sainsbury's this week. Still no yeast, and I ordered "Soft Tortillas" but received "Crunchy Taco Shells," but other than that nothing I can't live with. I even got baked beans at long last, although they replaced the Branston baked beans I ordered with Sainsbury's cheap & nasty own brand. Supply chains appear to be slowly returning to normal now that the panic-buying seems to have tailed off. People have realised, perhaps, that we're in this for the long haul, and they're fed up with not being able to lock the kids in the spare room because it's full of toilet rolls. Try ordering plums and you get sent plum tomatoes! FFS

I gave up my system at home ages ago, I have 2 rooms in my new place one for analogue and one for digital so after I have done for the day I can retire for a session before going home.

Far more people stuck at home than ever, I bought some AECO pure silver RCA connectors and some nice silver interconnect cable from Japan to make some cables for my own use.
