Anyone heard of it and how to avoid it? Saw a car recently at quite a low price for what it is. I asked the seller why it was priced so and he said he wanted a quick sale for unforseen circumstances. He had a few others. Told him I had a change of mind and he wished me well. As he had been with eBay since 2009 and had good feedback and after some more thought, I decided to go ahead to buy it. I suggested bank transfer on collection and asked for a postcode to get a quote. He replied that he was working offshore as a financial auditor and would be away for a month or more but that viewing & delivery could still be possible. He suggested using VPP, which I'm not totally convinced about. Just wondered if anyone had used it. Avoid this transaction like the plague. Sounds like a scammer to me. I check Ebay classic cars every day and scams like this crop up at least once a day, be warned. PS, the post above echoes what I find. *

I don't watch F1 anymore.
BUT, I do like reading about the behind the scenes tittle tattle, and who might go where next season.

I saw today that BMW can offer to turn on things like heated seats for a monthly fee.
"BMW has sparked debate after offering an online subscription to turn on heated front seats in its cars in the UK for £15 per month.
A monthly heated steering wheel subscription costs £10.
Subscriptions have been available for features on BMW cars for some time in the UK, but the heated seat offer started this month.
The company says customers can enable all hardware features for a one-time payment if they prefer."

I read that Saudi Arabia are going to increase oil production to help the current situation.

I've been reading various F1 blogs, and YouTube videos, and it seems that FIA race director Michael Masi and single-seater technical chief Nikolas Tombazis may be due for the "chop".
I read that no F1 team sporting directors have any confidence in Masi for the future.
Time will tell, soon I hope.

Does the area where the flat is situated have a local "freecycle" group ?
It's worked for me in the past.

Seems there is some doubt about whether Lewis will start the 2022 season.
He's been very quiet since the debacle at the last race.

I use mine in Sainsbury's at Christmas for all the "extras" that make Christmas special.
You can check online what your points are worth, or get the supermarket helpdesk to read your card before shopping.

Predictions: Russell to Mercedes Bottas to Alfa Raikkonen retires Gasly back up to Red Bull? You got 3 out of 4 right, but not Gasly.

From the FIA about Aston Martin's protest at Vettel DQ: As I saw things that outcome was inevitable.
I see that Perez's seat at Red Bull is now in doubt for 2022, so the driver seat situation remains interesting.
Mercedes will announce (supposedly) next years drivers during the summer break, then everything might be a bit clearer with regards to all the other teams.

Will Aston Martin succeed in it's protest re the 1Ltr fuel sample ?
As I understand things the matter was not about how much fuel was left in the tank, but the fact that they (AM) could not get access to enough for the full 1Ltr, despite being given more time to do so.
I'm not sure if the FIA have impounded the car to prevent any "trickery".

I hear rumours that Bottas will go to Alfa Romeo if Mercedes decide to partner Hamilton with George Russell.
I wonder if Russell will be expected to support Lewis in the same way Bottas has been doing ?

I understand that Microsoft have (temporarily ?) withdrawn the checker tool because of massive negative feedback.
The whole W11 thing has become a joke.

I've also checked TPM, and my laptop is on version 1.2 Will Windows update that to version 2 through auto update eventually ?
I'll wait to see what happens as W11 is rolled out, W10 will do me for quite a while yet.
PS Lenovo Vantage had updated and reflashed my boot settings but TPM is still 1.2

Ah yes, I've been in the BIOS and,
1) Set it for UEFI only.
2) Turned off CSM support.
3) Enabled secure boot.
Aren't I clever ?
Except after that it would not boot up beyond the "Windows boot monitor" page.
So, I reset it back to how things were, and everything works again.
