It's a little more subtle than Social Network, and not your average listen at about 3 hours long!

The Social Network album is excellent so I suspect The Girl With a The a Dragon Tattoo would also need to be a future purchase

Wow! I do have the three Blu-rays (and I'm not talking about the sub-standard Hollywood remake)

I wouldn't say it was "substandard" - I do like the first instalment of the original, but the following two get a bit messy. Maybe I'm just a little biased with regards to David Fincher

I just think Noomi Rapace made the character her own, and was superb.
EDIT: umm, I feel I've just insulted you?! Sorry!

No problem! I thought Mara was good, but as you say, Rapace was superb. Still her best role to date, I think. On first viewing, I felt the remake was a bit of a let down, but susequent viewings have improved it. As I say, maybe a bit Fincher bias on my part, but the score helps too

Do you think they will remake parts 2 & 3?

I think it really depends how well it did at the box office. If they do, I have a feeling Fincher wouldn't be involved. I don't feel it needs a follow up.
I don't really know how well most American remakes - sorry, "English language remakes" - do at the box office in general. As a rule, I don't feel they work too well, as they'll usually lack something the original had. Most of it is done for the American market anyway.

An example of a really good remake is Solaris. Genuinely unsettling.

An example of a really good remake is Solaris. Genuinely unsettling. Yes. The original is overly long, and I don't get why the guy is wondering around in his pants. You just wouldn't!

They were available as a pre-order from Mondo (who bought Death Waltz records last year). These two companies basically do movie soundtracks, predominantly horror. These releases weren't limited in number like most Mondo stuff, but only available as a pre-order, so once released, no more. The box set set is now out of print: mondotees.com/collections/archive/products/back-to-the-future-trilogy-complete-original-score-6xlp-pre-orderBut they are available as a ore-order for the individual releases though, but again, I think once released, they are ceasing production (I know the colour vinyl copies are now out of print). I have had confirmation my individual ones have been shipped, so they might close the sales for them very soon! The individual releases use the exclusive Mondo artwork that they have previously released as limited edition posters (which I missed out on ). The box set comes with different, but still exclusive, artwork. mondotees.com/collections/music?page=1

This is the first full month I haven't bought any music at all in longer than I can remember. Luckily, I have an 'adequate' collection to keep me going.
