Live in the Heart ... is an amazing album Mike. The later 'snake albums like Saints and Sinners not so good.
I saw Mavis Staples on Jools Holland doing the title track from the album - great song but couldn't make it through the album, thought it was pretty tedious sadly given her great voice.

Re. Whitesnake, 'Slide It In'
I read an interview with Coverdale at the time just after its release. Apparently, the first issue sounded dreadful, so they essentially re-recorded the whole thing and then released it again. He unofficially christened it 'Whip It Out, Wipe It Off and Slide It In Again'.

I found that with her previous 2016 album, which has a few goods songs, but the overall album is lacking. Think I’ll try before I buy with this new album.

Steely Dan - Pretzel Logic on gorgeous Japanese SHM SACD. Hearing Rikki Don't Lose That Number in this hi-res quality is quite wonderful.

Rare Bird - Somebody's Watching. Andr'e may disapprove but I like it. Sounds good, too. All their recordings do.

Twatish behaviour from Discogs seller once again. Enquired about an record tonight i wanted which was listed at less than £10. Now the seller gone & added another £4 on the price. I shall ofc cut my nose off to spite my face.

What reason did they give for the extra 4 pounds?

Edit: Sorry mis read it as Australia Cos it was never released as a swirly in oZ.. I dont even think there was a Austrian or German Swirly of it.. Which begs the question, Is it a Re-Issue on Spaceship Vertigo?

It's a remaster via Repertoire Records. It's a 3000 copy limited edition and the seller just happens to be in Austria, it's not an Austrian issue.

I love his lower key numbers and slow boilers like Point Blank from The River. Nebraska is good as is Tunnel of Love.
