Killing Eve’s second season airs on Sunday 7 April on BBC America, with a UK air date still to be confirmed. MORELooking forward to this, this first series was excellent.

If you prefer a "gentler" pace, Mike, I really can recommend The Murdoch Mysteries. It's on Amazon, but sadly it's pay-only at the moment @ £9.99 per series, and I really would suggest watching from the start if you can. Seen that once or twice. Can't remember where. Assume a Freeview Channel Looked interesting Thought Killing Eve was silly as well as pointless gore and violence. Clever to start then lost the way Due to laziness fixing Tivos and a refusal to watch live TV we are watching from Amazon Prime as already paid for White Collar so so Burn Notice was good and miss that now after 7 series ! Started to watch Angel then Buffy to remind me how wonderful they were. They were, but I've seen them. No point in watching again I worked out There is a SF series that we watched 1 episode and I was not impressed. War between Earth and Mars a while in the future Keep looking for more series that I can bear to satisfy the boss. There are a lot on Amazon Rarely watch TV now when she is out. Welded to the chair listening to wonderful sounds

Baptiste starts on BBC1 at 21:00 tonight (Sunday)
It's a drama revolving around the titular French detective who first appeared in The Missing series one and two. French actor Tchéky Karyo is back to reprise his role as Baptiste
When we last saw Julien Baptiste at the end of The Missing series two, he was about to undergo an operation to remove a brain tumour. But in this new series, he is fit and healthy and tracking down a sex worker in Amsterdam who was reported missing by her uncle Edward (played by Tom Hollander). It's set in Amsterdam.

Another one I am looking forward to.

Indeed - learning one of the Scandinavian languages would be beyond me, learning ALL of them?

Wifey and I have just finished watching the second series of Tin Star and it was equally as excellent as the first. I thought S2 started a little slow but once we got to E3 it really took off with a bang. A combination of hilarious dry humour, bizarre violence and superb location with stunning scenery makes it very watchable. Tim Roth remains as unpredictable as ever. It reminds me of Banshee a little (how I miss that series).

Agree Martin, we felt the first season started quite slowly but built up to what was an impressive crescendo, so I felt the second season just followed suit.

We've recently finished watching;
Bates Motel Dirty John
Both were excellent. Dirty John is based on a true story and quite spine tingling at points.

The Looming Tower as recommended by SteveCWasn't sure, especially as this is recent history but Steve and I agreed on a lot of Amazon offerings so gave it a go. Recommended. Based on what happened so a few liberties taken. Very good story, acting, pace, detail and situation www.imdb.com/title/tt6474236/

I love it. Had to laugh at the hoops Chuck had to go through and the running joke about the 'Park Anywhere' permit!

I've started watching The OA on Netflix. It's going to be a slow burner, but holds great promise. The reason why I was drawn to it is Brit Marling, who is both an excellent screenplay writer and rather good actress. If you liked Sound of My Voice or Another Earth you will know what I mean. She writes complex, intelligent mysteries and it takes all of your concentration to follow them. I'm going to enjoy this.

I've been watching The Tunnel on Swedish TV. Direct copy of The Bridge but a few less guns. Saga is a French blond with some of the Saga problems and Martin Rohde English. Plot a dead copy..

We finished watching Baptiste yesterday and have to say I thought it was very good indeed, well worth a watch. Apart from 3 loose ends.. SPOILER ALERT... Where did machete man go? He propped up a transformer and wandered in. Never too be seen again. C rated Romanian hit man that one.. What actually happened to the money, or did I sneeze and miss that bit? What happened to the gaming mastermind sitting in his ivory tower. Plus The self drowning by accident scene - that was a stretch.. How did sonny boy shoot dead his chief of police mum in the head, shoot good old Baptiste (only winged him) and not get gunned down? I've watched to many Am. dramas I guess. Still, we enjoyed it
