Same here, I have Fargo recorded. The wife's away for a while so I'm having to record everything and watch virtually nothing. Out of interest, did anyone see Cardinal, on C4? I've got all 6 episodes recorded but if it's crap we won't watch it. I see the "last ever" series of Ripper Street starts on Monday, 21:00 BBC2. That's really confusing because I could have sworn the previous series was supposed to be the last series ever.

Had the same problem with the boss away. Loads stored up. Started Fargo. The usual excellent melange. Cardinal I gave up on. Torturing children to death, Maverick cop, secrets I didn't find out Continuum very good in places. As time travel is a big part I'm sold

I really like Count Arthur Strong, a comedy about a bumbling, forgetful, failed actor, written and performed by Steve Delaney as Count Arthur Strong. Wifey and I went to see him live on Thursday at the Corn Exchange in Newbury and I loved it, so funny, she wasn't so impressed.

Comfort watching at the moment: Dark Matter and Killjoys (both SF).
Game of Thrones soon. Winter is coming!

Reminds me very much of a manager I had in the 60s. Have also seen others like him in years gone by. Spiv

It was superb when it was on the radio and I'm afraid it's lost a great deal in its translation to TV. The character is definitely not a spiv Mike!

Is Dark matter back for the next series? Killjoys we watch a few and then got a bored. Odd cos it's sci fi and that is usually enough for Marie.. Anything too girly or graphic esp a whiff of torture she's off!

We tried Cardinal but have up soon. Can't remember why. Many of these things are not different enough or too depressing. I guess it depends what else you watch of course.

Yes, Dark Matter is back.
I stuck with Killjoys because of the character Dutch.

My wife likes 'The Loch'.
I can't imagine why, as it seems to me to be a weak, formula production -e.g. take 1 part Broadchurch, 1 part Hinterland, a dash of 'The Bridge', take some mediocre actors then water the whole thing down considerably and don't add any new plot twists.
I guess the originator thought if England Wales can have their Dramas, then why not Scotland ?

Decided to watch Game of Thrones from the beginning. Interesting how S1 E1's can feel quite awkward and slow, but true to form, GoT manages to keep your attention by all means necessary

Interesting how S1 E1's can feel quite awkward and slow, but true to form, GoT manages to keep your attention by all means necessary I have never got beyond the first few episodes as I find it far too slow and boring... I have been told by almost everyone that it gets a lot better, so maybe I should try and give it another go. Reminds me a little of Breaking Bad, I found the first season of that extremely slow, but season 2 onward it gathered great pace.

The Leftovers S3 has just started. As epic and sweeping as ever, with another outstanding opening sequence.

I'm watching Game of thrones again. Finished S3. Now onto S4. The dragons are growing and cremating nasty people at a lick.. Aim is to be close to re-watched all by the time the next series come out. I have my work cut out.
Leftovers S3, we lost the plot after EP 2. Not sure we can re-find it.

I've started watching Narcos on Netflix. It's very good. I may need to start watching it again, I found it a bit of a slow burner but I have been told by others that if you give it time it is quite excellent.

The latest series of Better Call Saul was really good, starting to understand more where his name originated and the connections back to Breaking Bad.
