Yes, checked the wiring polarity back to binding posts. The first thing I found and fixed was the bass woofer was inverted on one speaker!
Audyssey says there is a 7dB null around 3.5kHz which I assume is the mid-tweet crossover point, but I probably need to get the proper measurement microphone out of storage and test with the mid wired in/out of phase rather than rely on Audyssey. Crossover appears to be second order filters all round.

It's normal for the mid to be inverted, which is the usual arrangement for three-way speakers at 18dB/octave crossover points.
Mine were the Audax and Seas driver set (Mk. I) so the setup could well be different.
