Well we could limit it to 50 but statistically it may become a bit odd, with low numbers of participants IMO, its the old adage of the larger the sample then the better the result overall. I understand 100 is a bit of an ask, but I would have though most of us could easily sit and think of an albums we would really like to listen to and then another and very quickly get to 100 and then juggle them or just list them in the order we think of them, the just go with it method. Its up to you, I will see where 50 and 100 takes us. |

If I say Jarvi/SNO as my choice and another member says Previn/LSO they will be treated as different and won't rank as they deserve. For classical, should it be the specific album or work? Note that I didn't define the performers for my other classical choices. |

For example There are several versions of DSOTM by other bands, so whilst written by PF it is performed by others, so if we took the same approach DSOTM would imo be unfairly ranked. |

Well I have created a 1st cut Top 50 and Top 100, it is a little odd in that we several with the same ranking score, so we need to think if they share position, so 3 albums at 25 and then the next is at position 28, this way we just end up with 50 or 100 albums in the chart with some sharing position, I think this occasionally happen in the real singles/album charts.

As I suggested earlier, this kind of tie can be settled with a quick look at sales figures or weeks in the chart.
