Don't have much in the way of Kinks on CD and the singles seemed a good buy for me
Amazon has conflicting reviews on sound quality, mono v's stereo
Who has a good one they can recommend

A Kinks Kompilation on CD? Sorry, I just have original albums. There have been tons and tons of Kinks singles albums and it's not the kind of thing that many people are likely to have tried several different ones, so I'd just plump for the one with the best selection of tracks, myself.
Alternatively, just buy these and be done with it: Kinks Kinda Kinks The Kink Kontroversy Face to Face Something Else Village Green Preservation Society Arthur Lola vs Powerman

So I did! Oops. Missed Percy & Kelvin Hall, too, but those two would just be minor offences.

Have Arthur - a classic. Also BBC Sessions 1964-77
Not keen on most of the others, possibly all
Have lots of 7" singles I'd like to dupe on CD

Less than Amazon's £0.88 + £1.76? (Again, MusicMagpie used VG)

£2.28 ! MusicMagpie have a vast range but take days to deliver and customer support lacks. Although they have credited me back a couple that skipped badly

I've bought a fair bit from them, usually via eBay or Amazon, and the only 'problem' I've had happened this week when I got an out-of-the-blue refund for a CD I'd ordered, with no explanation.

Almost a go to supplier
Pain they cut back the 10 and 20% discount for buy 2 to - buy 2 get a whole 5% off *one* !
Also interesting to see how they, Momox, Dodax and others keep an eye on everyone else's prices and raise or lower by a penny

Kinks and SQ = oxymoron. It's about the music🙂

At least a couple of albums were slated for being awful, made worse
I'll take what I get and be happy for a quality sound

Designed to be played on a Dansette, or through the 3" speaker of a little transistor radio, (preferably while listening to Radio Caroline, or Radio London) but definitely not on a " hi-fi".

That was a rare vocal from Dave Davies. They were a fantastic live band. Mike will know that track from Chris Spedding, I expect.
