'kinell - I thought I was bad!
My relatively modest list of unused and surplus stuff that I should really move on:
Pioneer SX450 Sony TA-F770ES HiFace Evo USB/SPDIF converter Cambridge DacMagic 100 Beresford Bushmaster Mk1 Pioneer PL-71 Linn Axis Kenwood KD-770D Lenco GL75 Clearaudio Smart Matrix RCM
How about a list of treasured stuff that will never be sold? My surprisingly brief list is:
Thorens TD-124 Mk2 Quad 57s Kontrapunkt B

I have a Kenwood KA3020-SE amp and an award winning/highly rated Aiwa tape deck and a couple of interconnects. There is also an Arcam Alpha 8P doing nothing right now, and that may be joined by a 10P. I have a few spare cartridges, but I rotate through these as my mood takes me.
The 10P I am currently using will be transferred into another system, and use either my Arcam 7SE or PD-S703 CD player when I get some more speakers. So, I guess Infon't have a lot of spare gear, as I have sold most excess stuff as I have upgraded.

Does anyone fancy setting up a swap shop so we could all maybe play with each other's unused toys? I think that's quite a cool idea, but when I raised the same possibility on the Wigwam it was dismissed because of the issue of possible damage to kit.
But I'd still be interested!
My spare kit ....
Ming Da MC368BSE KT90 integrated amp - a lovely thing - I swap between this and a NAD S300, so it isn't really spare. Audio Innovations Alto mk1 - my official spare amp. Restek Consens pre - a thing of sonic wonder, I just don't have a power amp at the moment! Tisbury passive pre (available for loan if anyone fancies a try) Amptastic Mini-T (ditto) Sony 1000ESD digital pre-amp (two if them in fact!)

That's where I was hoping this thread would lead and I think it's a great idea for informal arrangements between members. TAS will be happy to support this, but details will have to be settled between members. As of course, will any disputes, though I'm sure that would be a rare event as I'm certain we're all responsible adults!

You'd need good insurance on the postage. A lot of stuff seems to get damaged in the post these days..

I have some gear that isn't being used that I doubt I'll part with, and have sent stuff to other forum members on long term loan before and never had any issues. I would also be interested in swaps or loans of my spare gear.

Problem is often the item is in the box with air space so gets a rough ride. Classic was a headlight for my Saab Box was about twice the size of the headlight. Who knows how it survived the overnight jourmey

Lovely bit of kit - use it or lose it! The KRC-3 is now in permanent use. There was a bit of vibration felt on top of the case, but putting Black Ravoli pads under it has sorted that right out! Forgot about the cavernous bass depth and control, and forgiving nature, of this preamp.

I also have a rare Croft SIP preamp with MC-only stage in brown crackle finish. Lovely sound, been in the garage too long. Needs a loving home.

I have started selling my unused gear, so the Scorpio tonearm, LFD PA0 (SE), Royd Sapphires and Audiosector DAC have all found happy homes.
