I'm quite a fan of the MTV Unplugged series of recordings and go through phases of playing them, sometimes repeatedly. Eric Clapton is a favourite as are the two REM recordings. However, my recent 'go-to' seems to have become Alanis Morissette and I often think of it as a bit of a lost recording. Anyway, what are your favourites, or do you even like any of them?

By coincidence I played Eric unplugged this morning. Not his best album but definitely better than I remember it. Ooh Joe Walsh and R. John on this list from Wikipedia List of artists featured on MTV Unpluggedmore there for me I've never heard of like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Joe Satriani Investigation required Thanks Pete

Has to be Nirvana, great to hear there songs with an acoustic arrangement, and was recorded only shortly before Kurt passed away.
I'm also a fan of Eric Clapton.

Some of the above. The Neil Young one is great. However, the first and best unpluggged album has to have been 'Folk Singer' by Muddy Waters, released a little while before MTV was a twinkle in anyone's eye.
