Indeed, I read all six of Herbert's Dune novels (not the inferior ones written by his son). That's a potential 8 films right there.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves, but I've got a good feeling about it.
Did anyone notice that the trailer appears to have a few scenes from the first - flawed - Lynch film? Either that, or they've replicated the scenes exactly.

I've just read that Denis Villeneuve is filming Rendezvous With Rama, a terrific SF story.
Now THAT goes immediately on my want list. One of my favourite Arthur C. Clark novels.

Finally got round to watching Zombieland - Double Tap.
Loved the first movie - a fav.
Zombieland 2? Yawn.
