Can't find any reviews of Shanti so far, would be nice to read some opinions on it.

It has supercaps and 80nV of output noise, albeit the graphs show noise goes up with frequency which is in itself not unusual.
For the money, it looks highly decent.

Excellent, many thanks mikeyb !
Allo seem very confident it is better than a Powerbank, which is promising.
The only thing I don't like the look of so far are the hardwired output cables, just don't understand the thinking there.

The thinking is to cut out one more interface. It comes with a number of adapters as listed so you should be ok?

No probs there but for the moment I will only be powering the Digione so the other captive lead will be redundant ... Was hoping for a slightly neater solution.

Consider whether you prefer the output(s) to be switched. The mains is switched..I wonder whether it only turns on the outputs when 5.2V is reached.

Sorry Clive I'm not quite following your drift here!

These devices take a few mins to charge up to the target voltage. It's not good for some dacs to see under voltage, best to turn on when 5V or 5.2V is reached. 3V for example might distress some circuits.
Maybe it's an auto feature with the Allo. The Ciunas is manual, you switch on the output after a few mins. The Temple can have a switch added but is in effect off under 4.5V.

Ah, gotcha. The guys at Allo are pretty helpful, am sure I can find out ...
