On a whim, yesterday saw the departure of my lovely Vincent amp. The diminutive TPA3116 class D amp beat it by a small margin on rez and transparency but somehow isn't as musically involving and my attention soon starts to wander. So, I'm looking for my next amp, my refurbed Cambridge P110 acting as a stopgap which doesn't quite fill the vacancy. Up to £2k, but happy with a lot less. Must be 100% working. It almost certainly has to be a model I've not had before, as ever I am looking to explore territories new. So, what ya got that might capture my interest?

Would a vintage Exposure pre/power combo be of interest, Jerry?
Exposure XI/XII Super VIII combo.

Would a vintage Exposure pre/power combo be of interest, Jerry? Exposure XI/XII Super VIII combo. Gosh, no. Not impressed with vintage Exposure at all! Flat Earth stuff. A great buy for someone, though, for sure!! Thanks for the thought.

If you can find one on the used market, I would highly recommend trying out the integrated I am using, a Belles Aria. If you couldn't find one, it is only just over your budget brand new if you wanted to try one.
Think as far away as you can get from Flat Earth and then some!

Interesting sounding amp Jerry, have come across these twice now, once it was rather good, the other it was a dog dinner, the analogue system is was pretty grim in the digital system was much better, it demonstrated nice texture and depth, and like your good shelf Jerry no bitterness or hardness present

Bugger. I'm too late to have a look around eBay and choose something utterly ridiculous.

I agree. I'm very impressed with the Suono, and their passive pre-amp. They make a very tasty looking integrated too.
