I thought a few others here might be interested in this: "To coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 spaceflight and moon landing in July 1969, comes this extended edition of Brian Eno, Roger Eno and Daniel Lanois’s seminal ‘Apollo’ album. Originally scored to accompany director Al Reinert’s landmark feature-length documentary ‘For All Mankind’, the original ‘Apollo’ album has been remastered by Abbey Road’s Miles Showell. It also comes with 11 new instrumental compositions which reimagine the soundtrack to the film, marking the first time that the three musicians have collaborated since the original sessions in 1983. ‘Apollo: Atmospheres & Soundtracks – Extended Version’ is presented here as a 2LP 180gram vinyl set in a gatefold sleeve and includes free download code."link
Might as well pop the spotify link here for those who are unfamiliar:

Apollo is a superb album - I remember when the music was first used for the moon landings. I do hope this comes to streaming at some point. Is there a CD?

The album was the soundtrack for the prototype of this film www.imdb.com/title/tt0097372/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2I have the original CD and possibly vinyl. There was a typical Eno quote on the album cover which said something like, "I like everybody else remember watching the apollo landings, but was disappointed with the fast edits in the news coverage which made the whole thing feel like an inferior episode of star trek rather than enjoying the majesty of outer space" I do not have physical media with me here, I have tried googling for the quote.
