Love it when bands "go off on one" Caravan have one track per album where they go. Watching them live it was always great when they extended tracks. I have Man Colosseum (Live is one of the best albums of all time ever) Cream (live) XTC - a version of Battery Brides that went on and on and just got better, when I saw them at Guildford Civic Roxy Music did Love is the drug over a very long time, half an hour maybe, Bracknell if I remember right. Started, got going, started to get boring but they continued, became better and better and you wanted it to go on forever. Who else do we have please ? Calling ChrisB and The Dead

I have a bit of a penchant for bands that "go off on more than one"!

I can't help but agree about Colosseum, Mike. I always name it as my favourite live album of all time. My Pink Floyd live bootlegs have some "extended" versions of some of their standards which vary from "interesting" to "excellent." Jack Bruce has a couple of live albums featuring extended versions of a few Cream favourites.

Colosseum Live is probably the best live album going. I saw that set or close to it live, and was riveted. Not been so impressed with Jack Bruce live. Which albums ?

Jack Bruce & Friends - Live at the Bottom Line N.Y. and Jack and his Big Blues Band - Live, are the two I have, Mike.

I've read about them, Tom, but am struggling to remember the connection now. I recognise their banner photo.
