Excellent. Qobuz keeps getting more albums when I check. Was very surprised to find several of the Black Mirror soundtracks there now.
Still waiting for Juliette Commagere.

Just checked again and the little gem album Covered up with Flowers by Lissie is at long last on Spotify! Semi unplugged and done in one take. I like and missed it on Spotify. Requesting and requesting over and over does eventually work maybe..
The track Hollywood Bowl is still missing from the Band of Skulls debut album Baby Darling Doll Face Honey. No amount of requesting seems to be able to get that one in its rightful place with all the others! Why just that one track? Makes no sense!

Deezer has the biggest catalogue also free but also has a lossless contract unlike Spotify . My Panasonic TV came with the Deezer app built in .

I'm starting to see more and more music available on Qobuz that is not necessarily available in Spotify (the nearest to an industry standard that we have).

I have just finished a free trial with Qobuz it was very good , not sure if I'll ever sign up for a premium streaming service , I get Spotify Premium free as the kids have a family account . My personal problem is I never know what to play , I can see my discs and I select one , I can't see the streaming services' music I have to search .

I know what you mean, Barry, which is why I maintain about 10 playlists of different genres of music. I don't use them as a playlist but they are good memory joggers for all my favourite albums.

I also know what you mean Barry. I think it's something that takes a little time to get used to. I sometimes get new ideas from Jools Holland's progs. I use the discover feature and it's fun to look at what the rest of the family are listening to using the family explore button.
I too have memory jogging playlists with tracks that can lead to artists catalogues and similar music.
It's a lot easier with Spotify etc than buying CDs and ripping them anyway..

99% of Pendragon's output is not on Spotify, as I've just discovered. I'm playing their latest (2020) album, Love Over Fear, and nothing has changed.

Spotify’s search engine is just embarrassingly poor sometimes.
Trying to find an album I know is in my library, I search using the name of the orchestra which gives me nothing, then the first name of the conductor and that proceeds to give me nothing. I resort to using the name of the composer of whom I have many recordings in my library, and eventually find what I am after.
Surely they could / should do better by now?

I have found, to my surprise, that Qobuz search (which used to be terrible) has improved dramatically and surpassed Spotify for classical music.
It's not perfect, and you do have to be mindful of French spellings (orchestre, chaikovsky) , but it's quite good now.

Here is one that has eluded me.
The opening song of this show is such a must have for me. Shazam has it as a piano track called 'The More You Know' which can be accessed in Spotify. But that's not it.
This is an electronic piece. I really must have it and have searched for quite a while.

Still after all this time Band of Skulls Hollywood Bowl is not in the album as it should be!
Not on any of the streaming services I've looked at either.
Not for want of my lobbying.
I'll have to reconfigure the memory stick settings, lost in the V3 upgrade of volume to play the CD rip version .

I agree, it's a discipline thing. I always try to listen to whole albums by new artists especially. It's ok to pick and choose once you are very familiar with their music.
