I've lost the PSU belonging to my SMSL 2021 T-Amp. Kept one of these for many years as a handy little back up. Sadly I've lost the little PSU. I can't remember the value/specs of it. Can someone link a suitable PSU please. On the rear of the amp it says - dc14v -G+ (polarity) S.

The spec says 14V 50W PSU with 2.5mm pin DC plug. So it needs 3.6A. How about this on eBay? 14V, 5A, has the correct plug.

This should do the job, but if you type 14v psu into the search bar on eBay you'll find loads more.

Just make sure the centre pin is the +ve like this one. The final alternative is to buy a Chinese linear PSU which should give you the best sound quality. If you fancy going that route (probably between £40 and £60) there are a few of us here who've bought them, as there are at HFS.

At the risk of sounding like I know what I'm talking about, which I probably don't, I'd think that a half-decent LPSU is always going to beat a wall-wart.

Yes, agreed. Worth paying £30 for a decent one.

I don't call the SMSL PSU a wall wart - as not on the wall. Is it the same as a wall wart in what it does ?
