Showing the Allo case part assembled with Pi 3 and the semi-circular hole I made with a needle file in middle and top parts ready for the cable exit... Now assembled with DigiOne and power feed ready for top cover assembly... It's a very nice case, well engineered for a tight fit of Pi and DigiOne, providing cooling to the CPU chip and much smaller than the plastic Allo case. I transferred the Black Ravioli pads to the underside and the granite coaster on top. The only downside for me is that the LEDs are obscured so there is no easy way of checking that it's working other than via the interface. On the whole, it feels much more substantial and has no nasty resonant plastic panels. A nice design and I'm pleased with it.

Wow that case does look the business. Maybe I will have to convince wifey that the expense is worth it.

Yep, that's a Pi 3 with DigiOne ready to become a media player. If you don't like DietPi + Allo GUI you can just blast Volumio* or whatever you prefer onto the SD card.
*just noticed that Volumio is a selectable OS option.

You are quoted in both $ and €. Sorry didn't make myself clear...... but what are you charged in? $264 & €264 come out at a very different end price.

Well, I succeeded in not being able to assemble mine. Anyone else have troubles? Mid section clearance to CPU was 2.5mm instead of the 1mm covered by the thermal pad, which was too small and rather dry, started crumbling when handled, bad start. Tried to bridge the distance with ceramic pads, 2 was too little 3 was too much, did manage to get thermal paste everywhere tho :-D Attempted to attach the DigiOne board , screwing it down made the PCB bend since the SMD caps on the bottom were riding on the heatsink portion of the section underneath, with or without ceramic thermal pads. Back to original case, good news is, still works thank the gods. Gonna send them a message and ask about this.

I made a ball from the heatsink compound and it bridged the gap ok.
I had no fitment issues but you saw that I made an extra cable exit. It's all working well.
Hope you get it sorted soon.

Andre kindly offered to send me a unit and swap.
Temporary solution for anyone who encounters this issue, add rubber O ring to standoffs before fastening the Pi to the case with them. Will add the 1-2mm you need, tighten as needed and testfit.
Digione board, snip any protruding excess from voltage converter legs so they dont poke into case metal, add a slice of paper under DigiOne board so it can safely rest with the SMD caps on the casework.
Edit: SQ improvement compared to plastic case, what dunnit, shielding/damping is my guess, worth it.
