Since Photobucket decided to hold us all to ransom, I've downloaded everything I could prise from their grasp. I must have deleted more pics than I kept over the years just to stay under the storage limit, but I still have a decent number of pics. It's made me keen to start a thread featuring pics of my favourite bits over the years. Sadly 90% of my Exposure kit pics are gone, and I have virtually nothing older than late 2013 but still plenty to choose from. Every day or so, I will post a pic or two. If anyone else fancies joining in with pics of their old kit, please feel free: The more the merrier. Today's pic is of my favourite pair of IBLs. I've had a few pairs and two sets in walnut. These were the prettiest though.

The picture above, is a Schiit Asgard 2. This example shown here was my second one. I'm now on my 4th Asgard 2. There's something reassuringly satisfying about this headphone amp, can't really explain it. I certainly (to a degree) find the Asgard 2 appealing. Does a great job keeping my hands warm during Winter. S.

The Choir Audio SUT-H7, built using Hashimoto H7 transformers, is the best sounding step-up transformer I ever owned and I've had a few.

Ooh that is nice! It's great to see something so uncommon. I've stored it in the memory banks in the hope one ever crossed my path

Had these older style Grado RS1 for a short while. Sadly I didn't keep them long enough to fully understand them......Pity! One day I'm hoping to get my dirty hands on some old GS1000i. Anyway, my cheap but fun SR80e's, will keep my ears company for now. Though they can sometimes lack in a little smoothness. S.

You got me hooked on headphone listening, as well as Grados and Schiit products. SR80s are great headphones. I've still got my RS2es but it doesn't stop me listenng to my SR60s and 80s. There are some amazing modders of Grados out there. Their YouTube vids can be addictive.

I once had some Grado's that the past owner heavily modded. To quickly say it bluntly, that tweaked Grado didn't rock my boat. Was a fecking waste of my time and money.

One of my favorite CD Players is the Linn Karik. This one pictured here, I believe is a Karik III. But I stand corrected. I'm always falling back to these players. This I think, is because my ears find them fairly smooth sounding, and free from glare. Always did have a little soft spot for the Linn black boxes of yesteryear. S.

Whest PS.30R phono stage. A very good all-rounder (but beaten by my current Aurorasound).

I just had to look them up and take a peek with the kid off. They are really beautiful on the inside too.

My first and only McIntosh: the 5100. It won't be my last. Lovely, creamy rich sound. I was an idiot to ever part with it TBH. photo uploading sites
And another pic of it with the light on.

The wonderful evergreen AKG K701. If in the mood for something lean and airy, these get put on. I've had so many of them, and wouldn't hesitate in buying another one someday. S.

I have so little experience of headphones. I tried loads of Sennheisers back in the 80s, hated them all and wrote off headphones altogether. Then a couple of years ago tried Grados on your recommendation. Loved them and bought more. I'd really love to try Stax, Audeze etc, plus many of the other well rated ones. Being where I am right now makes it tricky, plus I am so happy with what I have.

Andrew, Sometimes if you fancy something a little bit more calm. Try the Sennheiser HD600. Easy to sell on if not satisfied.

Although I didn't like Sennheisers of many years ago, I wouldn't write off more recent ones. They look totally different today. If a pair come up cheaply, I will give them a spin.

Martin might want to avert his eyes , but for the rest of us, here's a Helius Orion. I've had mixed results with their stuff and reliability was a. It issue back in the day, but I liked this arm. It would look stunning on the Orbe.
