Maybe venture a bit further north next time eh? Watch this space... ...and if you make a statement like that, you'll be expected to come!

Yes, we were thinking of somewhere the other side of Reading for the next one. Maybe Basildon or somewhere Northern like that.

From what I have been informed you get a nose bleed if you travel above Watford

Decent effort chaps, well worth the visit, (500 mile round trip).
It's always interesting to see what people bring and what they listen to at home. For me the show stopper were the speakers with the Mark Audio drivers and ribbon on top, they were great, can't imagine what they'd be like with a well integrated sub under them.
Alan's Vivant was singing beautifully, how does he get such sound out of a single box!
I was quite taken with the tiny digital system, not the last word on friendly inputs but singing really well for beer money.
See you next time gents.

Decent effort chaps, well worth the visit, (500 mile round trip). More than decent effort on your side, Simon! I hadn't realised how far you'd come. It was nice meeting you and I think we're all in agreement about the Blackwoods speakers and inexpensive digital system.

Oooh that's Essex ! It's dangerous out there It was dangerous leaving Charlie Farley! I went only 500 yards before meeting a fire engine across the narrow lane on a bend. Then drove through a lightning storm and heavy rain until Dartford Crossing. Back into Essex and the sun was still shining on the righteous at 11.30pm, as it had done all day, with redundant Formula 1 grid girls lining the road to celebrate our safe return back into the county

It's been a long time since I've seen forked lightning in the sky but last night it was happening all the way home.

Don't think I've seen lightning like that before. Went across the sky in a jagged line rather than up and down, quite a few times. Anywhere east of Goodge Street is well dodgy
