A Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad et al watcher here too. Incidentally, this seven-second clip is the best illustration of The Simpsons being as much for adults as for children I could remember. I was certain I would find it on YouTube.  |

Cartoons were originally made for adult entertainment, so I see no issue with that.
Currently, I have an animated twinkle twinkle little star playing on YouTube. Obviously this is not my choice....

Honestly, I can't remember the last time I got a chuckle out of a Simpsons episode.
Yet, aside from the occasional gimmick episode of Family Guy, I can't remember the last time I didn't get some serious belly laugh out of an episode Family Guy.

I believe there is a current one that is really good , doh I'll have to ask the kids (20 somethings) can't remember the name but they are telling me all the time to watch it .
