Smoked salmon sarnies with cucumber, and Polish mayo.
If you use mayonnaise and you've never tried Polish mayo you're missing a trick. Most supermarkets sell it now and I never buy anything else these days.

I've had this in mind for a while and finally brought some home today. You're right, it's delicious! I meant to ask, Martin, have you tried the Castello Extra Creamy Brie yet? I alternate the Pié d'Angloys and the brie for my crumpets.

Not tried that one as I tend to buy either the blue Castello or Camembert (which we love out of the oven).

Fresh bread rolls, thinly sliced saucisson sec, and strong coffee with a shot of vanilla syrup. What the Hell, it's Sunday.

I've just discovered Jolly Hog sausages, and they're as good as Jolly Hog bacon, which I've had before - I can recommend their Black Treacle Smoked Bacon. I tend to find that a lot of mid to high-end sausages that I've tried are actually too meaty. Their texture is too coarse which, for me, ruins the sausage, and they can sometimes taste of nothing but the meat. I tried Caramelised Porkers tonight, in Panini, and they were lovely; pork sausages blended with caramelised red onion relish. The texture was just right, and the flavour was full, but not overpowering; about as 'delicate' as a proper sausage can get. Jolly Hog makes a "Porky Black" too, which is a pork sausage, with apple and black pudding. I rather fancy those.

Nice. I had some caramelised onion burgers from Sainsburys a week ago and they were yummy.

I am just about to fire up the Cuisinart. I have, as was mentioned by me above, Jolly Hog Caramelised Porkers, Smoked Treacle bacon, and some nice little brown chestnut mushrooms. Chips will be cooked in the air-fryer and I shall then attempt to convince myself that the whole evil plateful is "healthy."

I've just bunged a load of diced beef, paprika, pointy red peppers, and an assortment of veg into the slow cooker. Now all I have to do is wait ten hours. Tuna & Mayo sandwiches with a dash of sweet chilli sauce tonight I think. I really can't be arsed preparing anything else at the moment.

I seem to be the only one eating, or at least, the only one prepared to bore the arse off of everyone else talking about it.
A punnet of plums, a punnet of nectarines, some golden caster sugar, a couple of cinnamon quills, a couple of teaspoons of vanilla paste, some water, clingfilmed in a bowl, and then cooked for eight or nine minutes in the microwave. That's dessert sorted for a few days. There's vanilla ice-cream in the freezer too.
I'm awaiting the *ding* as I'm typing this.

Rhubarb, Strawberries, Golden Caster Sugar, a little Water, and some Vanilla Paste - All zapped in the microwave until the rhubarb started to fall apart and then spooned over Kelly's Clotted Cream Ice Cream. Luvverly, and I've made enough for three or four days.

This week it's Apple, Pear, and Rhubarb, Golden Caster Sugar, a little Water, Honey, a Cinnamon quill, and some Vanilla Paste currently being zapped in the microwave. I might also toss some sultanas in towards the end of the cooking time. I bought one of these... ...ages ago, and what with one thing and another it never even got unpacked. I dug it out today. I now never want to be without one. It peels, cores, and slices apples (and other things, according to the blurb) all in one go. Almost instant apple rings. It's a brilliant little thing. The only downside is that I bought a green one. I want a red one now, because, obviously, it'll be even faster. I've just looked on Amazon and they're still only £8.99. I'd forgotten how cheap they are. Having used mine now I'd happily pay double that.
