The new arm pod arrived from Speedy Steve and I have now fitted the Jelco 750D I got from the Brookmeister, this came with a Vinyl Adventure Corvette pure silver cable, which is stunningly well made as you can see from the picture below. Had a brief listen to it on the Series IV and prefer it to the Van den Hul that comes with the Series V that I currently use. I think a second one will be in order. I will give the arm a good test out over the weekend, I have put a JVC Z1s on in for the moment as the Audio Technica Mono3 has not yet arrived. The arm pod is stunningly well made and when I say it's heavy I mean HEAVY. It's about 9Kgs and Steve says it's full of cast lead. It feels like it's carved out of white dwarf star or even black hole very easy to set up with the levelling feet too. The Ebony arm board is fitted with an Ammonite Audio mounting collar and on first listen sounds really good with a lot of information retrival going on. I now need to find a lid that will go over the whole thing. I will update when the mono crtridge arrives.

That looks like a very nice setup, Paul. I bet it'll give the SME a run for its money.

It certainly is Martin, I really like the Jelco new additions in so far today are the Audio Technica MONO3 LP which sound amazing on the Jelco with minimal damping. Just playing through some early 60s recordings at the moment. I also got the SP version for 78s as the Composer - Solo will do that with the Phase 2 power supply. It'll be interesting to transcribe some of these old recordings. Tonally the MONO3 is really interesting, smooth yet really detailed. Tracking it at 2gms with 1.25 bias which seems about right. Just waiting for Tom Willis to arrive with my new Amps, but there has been a crash on the bloody M4

Ive been looking for a high quality Silver Tone arm interconnect for ages now but with no look. Most are just like DIY efforts to me..

Well worth checking out
