One of the final questions that guests on the Radio 4 programme Desert Island Discs are asked is which would be the single solitary disc that they would rescue if the waves came crashing over the beach and threatened to flood the island.
Let's imagine that by some quirk of fate, you were washed up on that island with your entire music collection. Which album would you run to save from being swallowed up by the briney?
People who only stream from Spotify, Tidal etc will have died from lack of music already because of the absence of an internet connection! Alternatively they can imagine that they were stranded with their old CD or record collection.
I think I would probably go for 'One Size Fits All' by FZ and the Mothers.

Bach B-minor mass.
25 sections of astonishing variety and mood in its 1h50m length, with vocal soloists and also choir for that important human contact. By turns, the most beautiful and exciting music I have ever come across.
And probably this particular recording of it.

Unfair, I'm torn between classical and modern!
It would have to be one of my first loves, Mahler's Symphony No. 2. The Tennstedt recording as I first saw it live under him and he was quite magnificent.

Had a go at all 3.
FZ and the Mothers. I always try as I like Steve Vai so much. Not one for me.
Bach B-minor mass Not keen on choral and not so keen on the music so another not for me.
Mahler's Symphony No. 2. Don't get it. Music is ok but not for me.
My taste in music quite different to you guys
