i now use font size 2, so I can't understand why the BIG PRINT comments are still being made.
I understood the annoyance factor so I stopped doing it.

So you did it in the first place just to annoy someone or was it everyone, was it worth it?

Pre . were do you live , due to irresponsible cadmium users , I have banned my children from stoke , Wrexham and Macclesfield No LDRs here yet. I've yet to decide whether or not they're going to be a sonic upgrade! If they're not, I won't be using them, and if I do (as an end user of the product), I won't be breaking any laws. This subject has already been done to death on AoS: theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?32677-Are-LDR-pres-the-ultimate-passive/page24See lurcher's post (#240) for the current reality, as well as what Paul Hynes writes later on the subject. The present situation is that LDR are legal to buy as components as the component market is international and the EU knows this. They are not legal to be sold in kits or finished goods. By adding the LDR as an addition to the kit just makes you take on as the responsible party as the manufacturer and not the kit maker, so the legal responsibility falls on your shoulders. For WEEE no matter how many times your item you made is sold on its end of life disposal is your legal responsibility.

I finish when people accept what is being said to them is the truth and stop finding excuses or ways around the law. It is very simple either break the law and get on with it and take the consequences if any, or abide by the law. BUT the continuous bollock that is being spouted on forums does no one any favours.

Both positions have now been clearly stated from both sides. Several times. Neither side will be persuaded that the other is correct. The argument is entrenched. If you want to avail yourself of one of these devices, you do so at risk of breaking the law and, in certain circumstances, you may cause harm to yourself and/or others. If this happens and you survive, you will almost certainly be liable for prosecution, whether the device is legally used or not. You should consider that before embarking on this and also bear in mind that TAS does not approve of, or condone breaking laws of any sort.
As an added bonus, you will also risk the ridicule of some members of this and other forums until the day you die (from cadmium poisoning or any other cause).
Can we leave it there now please?

There is no argument, that is the point, there are facts. As stated LDR usage is banned in the EU and is illegal. There is no argument to that fact. The argument as I have seen it is people making excuses and trying find ways to creep around the illegality. That is their problem, but it doesn't stop them being illegal. If people just accepted that FACT as reality I would shut up.
