It would be very dependant on the time and circumstances of a journey for me. Long, solo drives through the night require a different mood altogether, for example. The scenery can make or break a good choice of music too - we once had a perfect journey up through the Snake River valley in Idaho and the soundtrack was made up of The Steve Miller Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival and suchlike.
