In the coming months I be in the market for a good USB based DAC. At present top of the list is JK Iso DAC based on the Cuinas but with a reclocker built in the unit . It should be availble in the near future. Any other suggestions to think about ?

The USB DAC in my TQ Claymore is by some margin the best I have heard. I dont know what Colin used but is spot on through the cans and speakers. I suspect the power supplies feeding it and all the other sections of the amp make a massive difference.

Yes Colin a bit of a wizard Perhaps he make a stabd alone DAC at some point

Dunno what your budget is, if you can stretch to a Mytek Brooklyn, you won't be disappointed. Fantastic bit of kit IMO.

Yes nice looking DAC but a bit out of my budget (approx £1000 max) I am going to try something Jerry has recommended me and if that is better than my NAD I keep it and sell the NAD otherwise I probably go for the John Kenny DAC that is coming out soon
