Brought on by a thought inspired from Barry(ington)'s post about vinyl reissues, I wonder who has loads of copies of the same album/s and which albums they are? And why?
Some definitions: Two does not count as 'loads of copies' More than one version of the same album in a single release only counts as one copy.

First ELP album. Got it on UK Pink Island/UK Pink Rim Island/UK Manticore/US Cotillion & a Japan Atlantic.
I cannot hear any difference between the 1st issue & the Pink Rim. The Japanese issue sounds best imho..

I have all of the Beatles albums that were released in mono and stereo in both formats and on both vinyl and CD. Also, I have a US copy of Rubber Soul and a Portugese Hard Days Night.
Four vinyl copies and one CD of The Mothers - Overnite Sensation
At least 4 copies of Miles' Kind of Blue

Numerous examples of having material on both vinyl and CD. At least four versions of 'Kind of Blue' and a few instances of having two copies of a title on vinyl. Oh, and two copies (mastered at different times) of 'Sticky Fingers' on CD.

Pink Floyd went through a phase of remastered CD issues. I bought some of them (e.g. Dark Side, Final Cut, Wall) but although they sound a bit different in most cases I preferred the originals.

When we gave my daughter a turntable for her 18th birthday, she also got a stack of records from my duplicates, so now I only have two of a lot of those! Three copies of Little Feet - 'Time Love a Hero' though!

Amused to Death (Roger Waters) 1992 CD , 2015 180g vinyl , 2015 SACD & 2015 Blu-Ray Audio disc. Selling England by the Pound (Genesis) 1973 vinyl (did have the cassette), 1994 Definitive Edition CD , 2007 remix CD , 2008 remix vinyl & 2013 Blu-Ray Audio disc (which is the best).
The extra copies have been bought to play on newer equipment.

I think 11 DSotMs is perfectly reasonable, given the scale of its achievement

The extra copies have been bought to play on newer equipment. The 1994 CD is the original mix. The 2007 remix CD is the same mix as is used on the SHM SACD. The CD came about because Warner Bros don't support SACD in the North American markets. www.genesis-news.com/c-Genesis-SACDs-Nick-Davis-talks-to-it-about-the-new-51-mixes-s89.html
