How would you describe the sound?
I will listen to jazz, blues.
I love the sound of detailed with a good arrangement of instruments in space.
How does it sound?
At us in Russia owners Acoustic Research AR-07 there is nobody with whom it was possible to consult.
Chris, do you advise buying this amplifier?
I will be grateful to you for your opinion on this amplifier.

I've had an AR04 as well - it's up for sale again incidentally at £50.
The AR07 is different though - what makes it special is the dual mono design with separate transformers for each channel. Means it weighs a lot and generates 95wpc. I'm listening to mine just now and the sound is powerful and detailed and paired with my horns it's very accurate with no character added. It's fast as well.
If you can find an 07 then yes,I highly recommend it.
If you can't an 04 will give you a good taste of the sound but just a bit less power - it's just a single transformer.

I found in the sale of Acoustic Research AR-07 for 250$
Wanted to buy it, but when I saw the video on YouTube, I began to doubt the purchase.

If you're interested - buy the A04,I'll box it up for you and post it to Mother Russia. Listen to it,if you like it keep your eyes open for an 07. Sell the 04 for what you paid for it.

I wanted to buy it, but after watching this video I began to doubt and decided to ask on the forum.
I was surprised that on the review in the video he was severely criticized.
Money for the amplifier is not big, but I do not want to throw money away on wind.
If you recommend AR-07 as a decent amplifier with a musical charisma, then I'll buy it.
I hope the amplifier AR-07 will not disappoint!
