Actually, even behind the scenes we access TAS differently, so we do recognise it. Vive la difference!

There's no reason it can't co-exist with the other avenues used to access the forum. For a start if you hadn't drawn attention to it loads of us, it seems, wouldn't even have noticed it. The only thing I'll add to my original post, now that I've given it a bit more thought is, if I were a first time user discovering the forum, a list of open categories might make me want to explore further rather than just a list of headings. That's just me though.

With as much respect as I can muster Alan, that is utter bollocks. We know how people use the forum, of course we do. Let me quote to you a post which I made before this thread was started - before you or anyone else told us how you prefer to use the site.

I didn't mention earlier as I was speaking utter bollocks in the opinion of one of your fellow adminstrators but AoS, PFM and Wigwam all have a similar number of categories (some a few less a few more) and survive fine

Why would anyone take issue with that? It's a fact, unlike the statement which I quoted above, which was an incorrect, ill-founded and somewhat insulting assumption.
