David Midgen, Animal & Man Sounds good on Spotify, Sov, I may buy this. Thanks Ah, great, glad you found another album to add to the collection. If you like David Midgen Animal & Man then you may well like Harry Connick Junior 'SHE" Don't dismiss this too quickly. Harry Connick is well known for his Sinatra covers, but he has made two albums that are his own style, the other one is called Turtles. The Album SHE is one of my all time favourites, I play it A LOT and it is recorded very well., Give it a go.

Look like a good live band too Wow, thats awesome. I love the way the drummer makes the tiny 4 piece jazz kit sound like a big rock drum kit, thats real talent. I was a drummer for 20 years in my former life.

I was a drummer for 20 years in my former life. It's interesting that you mention the drumming because what stands out on the album to me, with my love of the early Greeny driven Fletwood Mac is firstly some of the subtler guitar playing sounds a bit that way, but most obviously, is that heavy use of floor toms just like Mick Fleetwood used on the more contemplative Mac tracks.

If you like Hybrid, Mike, you really must get Disappear Here, a really fab album full of cinematic ambience and some great songs.

A truly great album and one of the best sounding standard LP pressings I have in my collection.

ah, the memories flood back of a particular girl friend who used to do a great strip tease to Ramblin' on my mind Memories like that stay with you forever. I remember a particular time with Beethoven's 9th and a girlfriend wearing nothing but red high heels
