Recently it's been getting close to 30 degrees in my listening room. Any hotter and I'm going to have to put the vinyl in the fridge.

Have you got a listening chair in there?

A listening sofa. It doubles up as my man cave.

When it gets to 30' at work I put the aircon on, says a greenie (cheapskate)
Oh damn we moved I don't have that now Let's hope this cooler aspect keeps it well below 30 !

My system certainly sounds better in a warmer room, I prefer a warm room but not excessive heat as this starts to affect my enjoyment of my listening session.

Tried hard today, sustained three tracks and had to stop. Just too warm in the house.
How I wish I had aircon!

I'll bet that system kicks out some heat as well eh? Mine doesn't but still too bloody warm inside. Tried hard today, sustained three tracks and had to stop. Just too warm in the house. How I wish I had aircon!

Work out how the air might flow, *may* need building work There could be a natural convection just waiting to be found. I have the curtains pulled during the day. Keeps the room nicely cool

Quite a cool day today, only 32 degrees outside.
In the music room........21 degrees. Shutters stay closed and all the internal doors too.
Hardly any need for a cold beer...rats. (But then again, who needs a reason?)

Just had the thunderstorm to end all thunderstorms.
Came in quite low across the Thames estuary and with the house high up on a hill it seemed like the lightning was all around rather than above us. I wasn't too worried about a strike as we have a ligntning rod but I quickly unplugged the hifi as a belt and braces measure.
I've also never seen rain so heavy. For about 5 minutes it felt like we we under niagra falls
I suppose it's going to get very humid now.

I only use valves or Class A transistor, so my small listening room heats up quickly. It's very pronounced and in the winter no heating is needed if the gear is on for a while.

I prefer less heat than we are getting now. Around 68 to 70f. would be the preferred temperature as the hot weather makes me sticky and I find it difficult to do any listening.

It read 29.5C in the car on the way home. Way too hot for me and the aircon was blasting on my face. Shame I have none at home, thought about pulling up to the front door and pointing the vents inside the house...

Nice to see someone using proper English Farenheit (yes I know he was German), instead of poxy foreign Celcius. I'd re-imperialise everything just to be difficult!!!

I use both, just to be even more difficult.

Seems like a good idea. Everything in imperial measurements.
